Berita hari Selasa, 16 Mac 2010:

"Belgium court says Muslim teacher can wear headscarf in class
A Muslim mathematics teacher in a municipal school in Belgium won her legal battle to wear a veil in class on Thursday.

The teacher more than two years came to class with his head covered, but in September last year, school authorities suddenly decided to deny her this.

But following a court decision to allow a teacher to teach while wearing a headscarf, Francophone parties are pushing for a general ban on religious symbols in schools.

The first attempt to repeal the discriminatory decision of the teacher was not a success – a court in Charleroi took the side of the school, recalling a decree on the “neutrality” of the state school system.

France, whose five million Muslims make up Europe's largest Islamic minority, banned Muslim headscarves in state schools in 2004 and a recent proposal for a burqa ban has sparked outcry in the Muslim world.

Mashaallah.

bersemangat pulak! ;D

The Wayfarers

c/o:
We are the wayfarers
We are the travelers
Wondering through
The planet earth
And see how great
The Creator is

We are the wayfarers
We are the travelers
Don’t you ever think
How strange it is
To treat everything
As tough as it’s ours
